NEW American white oak barrels. The many years spent aging in new
barrels is one of the reasons Kentucky
Bourbon is the best whiskey in the world today. After the
golden liquid is removed, the barrels are exported where they are
REUSED to make Scotch and
Irish whiskey, rum, and tequila. It is our pleasure to share
this valuable part of our Kentucky heritage with you.

oak barrels. We have 2 grades of these sturdy barrels, Toasted wine grade, and Charred whiskey grade. These barrels are as well constructed as our bigger whiskey and wine barrels. Made from American white oak and double riveted galvanized steel hoops. These are all clear, sap-free, medium toast wine and char whiskey barrels. These
barrels are not in stock, they are hand made to order. Because of the
great demand for these barrels, (shipping usually takes 4 to 6 weeks, 30 gallon may take longer).

In Stock Ready to Ship. These 5 gallon barrels are made from our single use white oak Kentucky Bourbon Barrels. We resurface and re char our Kentucky Bourbon Barrels to make these sturdy barrels. Each barrel has 6 double riveted galvanized steel hoops. Weight 20 pounds - 16" Tall x 11" diam. on ends and 13 diam. in center. Comes with wooden bung. No spigot or stand. | Before You Use Your New Barrel Prior
to use, cure the barrel by filling it with hot water. Allow 3 to 5 days
for the barrel to completely seal. Once sealed, fill the barrel with
your favorite spirit and place the bung in tightly. Age to taste. To
stop the aging process transfer the liquid to a glass container. Then
clean the barrel and begin again. Barrels left empty will dry out.
